Stowe has never worked in the PR industry, or as a professional journalist. However, Stowe is able to provide insight into the new media worlds because he has been involved in that world from early days. I disagree with him on many issues, mostly those to do with PR industry related topics. But I agree with Stowe's ideas as they relate to this many-media world that is emerging. Blogging, or being involved in the blogoshpere, is essential in understanding how ideas and other information travels around. There are new rules of communications emerging and being discovered. And we all get to participate in creating the new rules ... but only if we already participate in the new media(s).
